Who wants a card when you can send a greeting AND plant a tree, paperlessly?? Say hello to Mokugift!

Mokugift is an amazing company that allows you to send out trees to be planted overseas to friends, colleagues, family - or just yourself - as gifts! Andrew and I stumbled across them this holiday season when we were trying to find an innovative and sustainable way to send our friends and clients a happy seasons greetings and reward them for their commitment to the environment.  Having them plant a tree on us seemed like a great way to celebrate the season!

Sexy Noises! These shoes are hot.

Are you a sustainably minded hipster on a budget?  Then you owe me a $3 highball at the Biltmore, cause this post is for you. Check out these hot shoes by Osborn Design Studios. Eye catching, bright and bold - these bad boys are fairly made in Guatemala from locally sourced fabrics [even secondhand clothes and blankets], vintage handwovens and African kente cloth. Unfortunately, they sell out quickly so get yours fast!

The Dundarave Festival of Lights is a neighbourhood fundraising event that combines good music, candy-cane cupcakes and elf impostors. With the support of the Dundarave Business Association, all the money raised was donated to the Lookout Emergency Aid Society - a non-profit that supplies shelter and services to the homeless population on the North Shore.

JoAnn Fowler is the make-up artist and business woman behind Sappho Cosmetics and the faces of many seemingly flawless celebs including the cast of Twilight and the L-Word.
