We are honoured to be the recipients of Small Business BC's Certified General Accountants Business Concept Award. Since we began service in October, we've had the chance to get to know an inspiring group of people and businesses. A BIG thank you to the Growing City community for all the support you've shown us and for helping us make our concept a reality!

The 7th annual British Columbia-wide Small Business BC Successful You Business Awards took place at the Birks Granville flagship store. It could have been the diamonds or the Clod-Hoppers, but the whole evening felt like a beautiful dream.

One of the best parts was meeting the other entrepreneurs at the event, including the other award recipients. Check them out after the jump!

Growing City is proud to be a part-sponsor of the upcoming West End Seniors' Network's 20th annual Strawberry Festival! We'll be Compo-Captaining during the event, so come by and say hi when you hand off your compostable plates (we know there won't be any leftovers from the famous Strawberry Shortcake!)

This festival brings the West End community together in fun and also helps to raise money for important senior services. So - bring out the kiddies, join the cake walk, and support our seniors!
