Litter Pick-Up Party!
Hooray!!! Our first Growing City In-Action event!
We are delighted to invite you to our first community event - The Growing City In-Action Litter Pick-Up Party at New Brighton Park!
We've sponsored a site with the TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup and we'd love for you to come out, cleanup, and have a great time!
Hard working volunteers deserve to be rewarded - so after your efforts enjoy Organic Fair-Trade Coffee from DoiChang Coffee, freshly baked goods from Cobs Bread [from Brentwood Mall], fresh fruit from Vancouver Farmers Markets and enter to win decadent door prizes kindly donated by Acacia Hair Boutique Inc, True Benefits Financial and Bloom Community Midwives.
The event is taking place Sunday September 20, 2009 from 10:30am - 12pm. Go to the picnic tables west of the New Brighton pool to sign-in for cleaning supplies and door prize entry!
