Hoggan & Associates is a public relations agency that has made a name for themselves by motivating their clients to do the right thing and helping to make sure people know about it. They are the anti-green washers, who make a point of outing shady public relations tactics on their acclaimed DeSmogBlog. They've managed to squash numerous dubious PR campaigns that had hoped to confuse and dupe us all. DeSmogBlog is the go-to site for those wanting the facts on global warming and other important green issues.
We were lucky enough to hang out with Jim Hoggan at Hollyhock, where he revealed the findings from his comprehensive Sustainability Research Initiative research survey, which shows that although Canadians are deeply concerned with the environment, they are suspicious of corporations who make green claims without backing it up.
We were impressed to see that Hoggan's existing waste management program went well beyond paper recycling. Hoggan & Associates definitely practice what they preach. Their clients include the David Suzuki Foundation and the Dalai Lama - so you know they're on it!
